Are you a worrier? Do you spend hours and hours of precious time worrying, cogitating, ruminating on what could go wrong? Do you lie awake at night running through all the worst case scenarios of a situation?
It's exhausting! It takes your enjoyment away from everyday life. It stops you from experiencing the joy in being present, where everything is ok. It drains your energy so that you can't focus on being creative, finding solutions or new ways of doing things.
Worry is defined as "the state of being anxious and troubled over actual or potential problems". It is memories of the past predicting the future that may not be true!
Here's a really quick way to stop worrying by asking yourself a simple question:
*Can I do anything about this situation?*
Yes - then do it, no need to worry.
No - it's out of my hands, no need to worry.
